Gessica Sakamoto Martini  is an Italian writer of speculative and literary fiction and poetry. Her writing has appeared in DMQ Review, Verse Daily, HAD, Hex Literary, Ballast Journal, Unbroken Journal, Crab Apple Literary, Red Ogre Review, Gone Lawn, FlashFlood (National Flash Fiction Day), Shoreline of Infinity, Seize The Press Magazine, and others.

She holds a PhD in Anthropology from Durham University (UK), and is a Fiction Editor at Orion’s Belt magazine, a journal of literary science fiction and fantasy.
